The more secluded beaches of Itanos and Xerocambos, with their shallow, white sand shores, are perfect for children, and the calm seas and crystal clear waters invite snorkeling. Windsurfers congregate at the nearby Kouremenos Beach, which boasts one of the first windsurfing beaches in Europe. There the Meltami winds blow, keeping our summer climate comfortable. The beach at Vai is surrounded by the a natural palm forest unique in all of Europe.
